I know Barcelona is all about Gaudi, but Palau de la Musica Catalana you gotta see! It must be one of the most elaborate concert hall in the world, if not the. The Catalan Art Nouveau building exudes stunning elegance both inside and out. The whole thing is covered in ironwork, stained glass, sculptures and mosaic. Even though you might feel content with only having a look at the facade, I highly recommend to go on a tour of the place, to see the concert auditorium with the magnificent skylight ceiling. Just make a note of that when I was there (off-season) it was not as easy as show up and go on a tour. The tours were filling up quickly, so I had to get a ticket for a later time, and come back. So glad I decided to do that. At the time I was wondering if I should bother rushing back to the palace later that day. I like to be free to do whatever I what whenever I want to, and not be tied up by tour times.
Med norske ord: På sightseeing i Barcelona bør man få med seg et konserthus utenom det vanlige. Fantastisk arkitektur!
