On our 4 hour trip to the Sani Pass a very early morning, a late breakfast stop was much needed. My driver usually stops at Lemon Tree Bistro in Underberg, and so we did. And I get why. This cozy restaurant located at the Clock Tower Centre, situated in a very beautiful building itself, is a very nice break from the road. However I wasn’t so lucky with my breakfast. The eggs florentine served wasn’t too exciting. Rather towards the other end of the spectrum. The bistro also has a shop attached to it, selling a variety of things. I really liked the place, but unfortunately the food wasn’t all that, what I had anyway.

Too bad your menu choice didn’t work out, but sounds like the Sani Pass did! Would love to get to South Africa. #TheWeeklyPostcard
There were lots to choose from on the menu. I just chose wrong 🙂 Sani Pass and South Africa were outstanding!!
Just like anywhere sometimes a meal isn’t all that great. Still from your photo this looks like a decent place to eat when in that part of SA.
Loved the place, so maybe someone else makes better dish choices than I did 🙂
It’s disappointing when the food doesn’t live up to expectations, but at least you got nice atmosphere. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard
Totally true!
South Africa is absolutely stunning and you did an amazing job capturing its bistro! Now I really want to go back, but this time in the Winter!
I had an amazing time in SA! I’d like to back in the summer 🙂
aaaah, a trip to Sani Pass! How I miss South Africa!
I loved the Sani Pass!! So glad I didn’t miss out, which my first plan did. South Africa is super!
