A Homey Bistro

international restaurant underberg south africa

On our 4 hour trip to the Sani Pass a very early morning, a late breakfast stop was much needed. My driver usually stops at Lemon Tree Bistro in Underberg, and so we did. And I get why. This cozy restaurant located at the Clock Tower Centre, situated in a very beautiful building itself, is a very nice break from the road. However I wasn’t so lucky with my breakfast. The eggs florentine served wasn’t too exciting. Rather towards the other end of the spectrum. The bistro also has a shop attached to it, selling a variety of things. I really liked the place, but unfortunately the food wasn’t all that, what I had anyway.

    1. There were lots to choose from on the menu. I just chose wrong 🙂 Sani Pass and South Africa were outstanding!!

    1. Loved the place, so maybe someone else makes better dish choices than I did 🙂

  1. It’s disappointing when the food doesn’t live up to expectations, but at least you got nice atmosphere. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard
