When I saw Casa Amarelo par Robert le Héros for the first time, online, I fell in love. Turned out they have few rooms, which are mostly too expensive for my budget. Luckily, they had a cheaper option as well. I went for it. Room was in the basement, so no windows, and a tad damp, but still nice. The door opens up to the backyard, with my own little patio, of sorts. Also out back, are the swimming pool, and garden, and small sitting areas are spread around. Great city views! Supposedly monkeys come by as well, but I didn’t run into any. Neither other guests, so had the place all to myself. Inside common areas are stylish, and fits the artsy neighbourhood. Hotel entrance gate is beautiful, but a bit hard to spot. Long white, tiled hallway leads to a vintage elevator. It all just melts well together. The interior design is by Robert le Héros, a French brand specialising in interior design and accessories. Only downside, there’s nothing around. For shops and restaurants, a few, you’ll need to go to the top of the hill. The hotel has a small selection of dishes to choose from, but I suggest you find something else – food was prepared by the receptionist. Very helpful and welcoming staff, though.
The hotel is located in Santa Teresa. I always took an Uber, but the tram stops not far away. At night, an Uber / taxi is best.

I figured it out after much clicking around on your posts in my Jetpack app and going round and round until I got it! To get to your full post (which seems only accessible on your own webpage), I must first click on your post in my feed. Then I have to click on Beatraveling that’s right above the date of the post. Then, and here was the tricky part that I now know for the future, I must click on the web address for your home page. Once there I can then click on the post I came to view. I’m just wondering why so many hoops to get to the post? There is only one other blogger I follow who I can’t just read within the Jetpack reader. Anyway, I am happy I can now get to the crux of your posts to enjoy your adventures!
That sounds like a lot of hassle 😮 Have this happened before…? The reason for not being able to read the whole post in the app, could be because I’m on wordpress org, not com. When I click on the post in the feed, and then click on beatravelling in the «Visit beatravelling for the full post.» line, below the first sentence of the post, I come directly to the post on my page. Thanks so much for letting me know!
It’s not a hassle at all now that I know what to do. I only let you know because if anybody else out there shares my former confusion, they could be missing out on your full posts. 😃
Thanks 🙂
