This is another waterfront neighborhood in Oslo, Norway. Lots of similarities with Aker Brygge & Tjuvholmen, but not as many shops and restaurants. A lot cooler architecture, though. I guess one should not expect less, considering this area is not as old. Oslobukta has been referred to as the Venice of Oslo, as there are canals running between the residential buildings. Munch Brugge has the new Munch Museum. Sørenga has the only beach, although it is possible to go for a swim elsewhere too. In the back, you’ll spot the Barcode buildings, and the opera house is close by. I’d say most people come for the restaurants, cafes, and bars, and on sunny days.
