I really liked my room at Euterpe in Klaipeda, Lithuania. The ceiling and roof windows gave me an attic feeling, and I rarely have this much daylight come into my room, and bathroom. Since it’s high up there’s no need for the the dark, heavy curtains to get privacy. The room might be on the smaller side for two, and tall people might not like the ceiling as much as I did 🙂 The bathroom however is more spacious than usual. Apart from the room. The restaurant seemed to be open all day. I didn’t try it, so can’t comment. Looked like there was a nice backyard. For sunny days, not the pouring rain I had. The hotel is centrally located, about a block and a half from the main street. It sits on a quiet side street.
Centre of town is not within walking distance of the train station, so took a Bolt. Leaving I didn’t realise until too late that a Bolt to the airport in Palanga (closest one) would be very expensive in the early morning. I recommend you look into the airport express bus option. FYI, the airport is very small, and very expensive – might wanna bring a snack.
