My first meal in Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel in the Azores, and it was a bull’s eye. Got me a table outside on the cobblestones, on a pedestrian street leading up from the main square. Me watching people watching me enjoying my pancake with chicken, bacon, and spiced maple syrup, alongside deep-fried avocado fries with chipotle dip, and a bottle of Kima. Kima “haunted” me for the rest of my Azores visit. I just couldn’t get enough of the slightly fizzy passion fruit drink. The deep-fried avocados were also a first for me, and I loved it!! If you’re in the mood for a bigger meal, they cook up that too. And by the looks of it, they offer a really cool bar vibe for an evening get-together. Stylish inside! I’d say the exterior is very different from the interior, like two different places. Add to that, a very welcoming staff. I highly recommend!
