Salieri Cafe in Odesa, Ukraine, came highly recommended by a friend, or a friend of a friend, with local knowledge. That always sets the bar high, in my book. No worries though, this place jumps the hoops like a pro. Walking up you are greeted by a warm, inviting restaurant front. Upon entering you experience a stylish, but intimate setting. Didn’t spot many tables, but I think there were some more room in the back. Otherwise, plan ahead. The menu offers lots of tempting dishes, but since in Eastern Europe, I had to go for beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, followed by pavlova for dessert. Good-looking food, and tasty food. I am thinking whatever dish you end up with, will be great. It’s that kind of vibe. The portions might be small, more of lunch size, but for me it was perfect – not big eater, rich food, made room for dessert as well 🙂 Salieri Cafe was an all-around good time!
