Itis Cafe I came across while I was exploring the fashion outlet scene in Kyiv, Ukraine, at Manufactura Outlet. While the other restaurants and cafes at this outlet village, accepted cash only, here I could pay by credit card, making it an easy choice. Having a hard time saying no to mochi ice cream, I unfortunately didn’t try any of the many other tempting offerings they had, like puddings, dango, and mochi filled with cream. For drinks you can have the regular coffee and tea along with matcha, calpis, and yuzu. Some of the drinks looked really cool, so now I’m kicking myself for not giving them a go. Whatever you get though, is stylishly presented, just like the cafe itself. Fancy the black, glass, steel, shiny interior meeting the color of the cakes and the matcha green.
I also came across an outlet in Odesa, but didn’t have time to stop by. According to their website there are several outlets both in Kyiv and Odesa.

Manufactura Outlet is modelled after the outlet villages we are used to seeing in the US and Europe. But unlike these, here they don’t have heaps of made for outlet products. They offer the authentic outlet vibe, like outlets used to be way back. Drawback is you might not find something you like to spend your money on. Kind of like going to a thrift store, you need to dig for gold. I was warned before going, that I wouldn’t find huge discounts, and it’s true, you won’t find 70 % off, more like 30 %. Manufactura Outlet is located 25 minutes by car outside the city centre of Kyiv. It has a hotel, art galleries on the second floor, and is next to a very small shopping centre, more like a huge grocery store. Besides that, I didn’t see much else around.
