That’s what the locals call it, Fargegata. It’s official name is Øvre Holmegate. It’s just a couple of blocks (of said street), but it has become one of the top tourist attractions of Stavanger. The hairdresser who wanted to turn the place from dull to vibrant, apparently had an excellent idea 🙂 The pedestrian section is filled with cafes, restaurants, shops, bars, barber shop, hairdresser, and tattoo shop. I opted out of a tattoo, and went for a coffee break at Bøker & Børst instead 🙂
