When strolling down the quiet main street in Foz do Iguacu, looking for somewhere to eat, the mouthwatering smell, and the fact that Shawarmaria Siriana was one of, maybe, three places that could show some kind of guest activity, made me come to a halt. With my Portuguese being limited to orbrigada, a little bit of pointing at another visitor’s food, with an apologetic smile, got me chicken shawarma, twice. The is no doubt a fast-food joint, but who cares, when the food is delicious. I don’t 🙂 Remember reading somewhere, probably on TripAdvisor, someone saying about this place: I’m from the Middle East, and I know a good shawarma when I get one…
