It was a quiet Sunday in Bodø. At the pier bay area I suddenly noticed a lot of people walking in the same direction. What is happening…? Ah, it must be an event of some sort. And it kind of was. I decided to tag along, and soon spotted the pier, realising they were all going out on it, for a Sunday stroll. Don’t know how long it is, but it was actually longer than it looked, so much that I didn’t walk the whole thing. Whether you take it all on, or just a part of it, I think you’re gonna find it an enjoyable experience. The pier comes with lighthouses, cool stone art, and views of the harbour and town, and the sea and neighbouring islands. Love the sign they have put up – it definitely can be windy, a reason they built the pier back in 1904 in the first place. So if you want to do what the locals do on a Sunday, do this!
