Bare Blåbær in Trondheim was the stage for reconnecting with an old friend after 7 years. Being a visitor with no idea of the options this city has to offer coffee house wise, I had no problem agreeing to a local’s suggestion 🙂 From the outside the cafe looks quite anonymous, but when you enter, it takes on a totally different personality. Love the colours, and the maximalist interior! Unfortunately I wasn’t very hungry, so a pizza from their wood-fired oven was out of the question. Still, with carrot cake and chai tea, it was a great place to get updated on what has happened the last, almost, decade 😀
Bare Blåbær is located at Solsiden, or more correctly Nedre Elvehavn, a popular restaurant and nightlife area. It is a 15 min walk from the town square, and you can access via the cool looking Verftsbrua, also called Blomsterbrua.
