After a windy experience on top of Torjusheia in Mandal, a cup of tea and something sweet to nibble on, were in order. Lately I’ve found myself mysteriously going for pistachio bun instead of the usual cinnamon bun. At Edgar’s Bakery they have plenty more to choose from. By the looks of it, whatever you get will be as tasty as what I got – the softest bun I have ever had! It was gone in a heartbeat 🙂 I actually considered getting another one, but had to suppress the urge 🙂 Even when I passed another branch located at the mall, I was able to not give in – good girl!
Edgar’s has several outlets in this region. Apparently they took over a few of the local bakeries at one time. Of the two I saw I definitely liked the one at Store Elvegate best, among the white houses and cobblestoned streets. Upon entering it looks small, but there are more tables and chairs around the corner. These days too cold for outside seating 🙂
