First time I visited the Santa Monica neighbourhood of Los Angeles, we just went for a walk on the pier. Impressively you can fit a small amusement park out on it. Along with refreshments stalls, and people looking for the catch of the day, fish, that is 🙂 Second time, we hung out at the beach. Waters are not warm in October – consequently you have huge stretch of the sands to yourself. Third time, I moved in-to a hotel. Ready to take on the shopping of 3rd Street Promenade. I arrived with one suitcase, I left with two… If you’re not in money spending mood, the three blocks are also the stage for street performers. Santa Monica appeared for the most part to be a residential area, but businesses have based their headquarters here. So far my favourite district of greater Los Angeles. Nice and chill – just the way I like it!
