Leuven: I’d Go Back!

what to see do university city leuven belgium

My visit to this university city was a short one, as my local friend decided to take me here for lunch, on our way to oceanside Knokke-Heist. A somewhat detour, but from the little I got to experience I sure didn’t mind. I encountered cobblestones and narrow streets, the most stunning town hall – Gothic with an amazing lace-like patterned facade – and a laidback small town atmosphere. No doubt, I’d go back!

  1. Back in the mid noughties I lived in Leuven for a few years. Such a beautiful, cosy little place. Some chapters of my short story series ‘Based in Belgium’ are based on those Leuven days. Nice post!
