Wanting to do something different from my regular visiting London routine, and still having neighborhoods to explore, I jumped on the metro, and was off to Camden Town. It kind of had the I vibe I was expecting – a punk, metal, goth mix. Even though this isnāt my scene, I found it a refreshing alternative. The shops lining the main street werenāt all too exciting, a lot of nick-nack, but I loved the pimped up store fronts. The area didnāt seem like a very big place, so it is quickly done, unless you take on the labyrinth of probably its most famous landmark, Camden Market. Among t-shirt and handicraft shops, vintage fashion, gift stalls and other rarities, there were a few gems too. Like the personally mixed teas shop where I picked up a Pina Colada blend. Most of all I liked the street food section. They have so much delicious on offer. Unfortunately I had already filled up on savoury pie, so I didnāt get to dig in š Chances are I will be back š , and that it will be a more enjoyable visit when it’s not raining cats and dogs.
