I don’t know what happened to Wagamama, either they changed their menu or the offer in the Norway restaurant is just better, or more correctly, fits me more 🙂 Not to say the two Wagamamas I’ve visited previously, in London and Cardiff, were bad, just not as exciting. Unfortunately the only place you’re able to enjoy their teriyaki donburi chicken with a side of kimchi, fried gyoza, and a pot of jasmin tea, so far in Norway, is at the Oslo airport, Gardermoen, in the arrivals hall. I sniffed it out when I was travelling home for Christmas. Tasty food, and compared to the offer and prices you have beyond airport security in the domestic section, a lot better alternative.
Update I: This is going to be my go-to-place when travelling right after work. On my second visit I went with Steak Bulgogi, and a pot of tea, of course 🙂 , Japanese tea this time.
Update II: Favourite so far is the donburi, which was tastier at Oslo Airport than at Heathrow…
