If you need a cheap and central place to stay in Puerto Natales, Chile, this could be what you’re looking for. Hostal Isla Morena is located a block away only from the town’s main square. It has nice rooms, considering it is a budget friendly accommodation, pleasant common room, but best of all, a library – love this feature! In my rate breakfast was included – very basic though. One concern I had before arriving, was that my booking confirmation stated that I needed to reach out beforehand, to make arrangements on when and how to check in, as the hostel doesn’t have a reception… After several unanswered e-mails, all in English, I had to ask my Spanish speaking host in Punta Arenas to call them. However as she didn’t speak English, it took another hotel guest to relay the message that the cleaning lady would be there to let me in, and so she did – puh!
