Puerto Natales ended up on my itinerary when I was moving through Patagonia from Punta Arenas in Chile to El Calafate in Argentina, overland. As there were no bus going directly from one place to the other, and I didn’t fell like rushing things, I decided I’d spend a night in Puerto Natales, and get on with the next leg the following day. Also thought it’d be nice to have a quick look around town. Unless you are visiting Torres del Paine, which is the reason most people to stop here, this place is easily done in an afternoon. Small, and quiet, apart from a few other tourists. I was there on a Sunday though… Pitstop, basically.

Definitely little, and somewhat cute 😀
How interesting to discover this town that most travelers don’t know about. I love taking detours off the main roads and away from the “usual” cities to find new places. Puerto Natales looks charming and quiet.
I love finding off the beaten path gems too, but sometimes it is too small and too quiet 😉
