First time I heard about Shake Shack was when my Airbnb host in New York City recommended I’d try this restaurant in Madison Square Park. When I showed up it was packed, so I decided to opt out. Little did I know when I stumbled upon it in Baltimore, Maryland, that it since then had spread to the rest of New York City and the rest of the country. This time however there was no passing on it. Word of its popularity had also reached me. Looking for a snack, I went for a burger only. It was enough, even though it was on the smaller side. For a full dinner, you need to add fries etc. Now, did it live up to its rep? It was decent stuff, but not as good as I had built up in my head. Nonetheless, will give it another go the next I come across it. Those drinks look nice too. I do wish my first Shake Shack experience had been on the bench outside the original kiosk in the park, even on a chilly November day, because that would have been a lot more enjoyable than the fast food chain look it has in Baltimore.

Shake Shack is the best! Burger, fries and one of their delicious shakes is the way to go! Thanks for linking up with #farawayfiles
Was eyeing those shakes, but was way to rich for me at the time. Maybe next time, because there will be a next 🙂
We enjoyed Shake Shack when we were in NYC. Great for hungry teens! #farawayfiles
Haha, I imagine 🙂 For hungry adults as well 😀
