Initially Baltimore‘s Inner Harbor seems rather small, but when you start poking around, things turn up. What stands out the most are the tree vessels that are docked – USS Constellation, a sail-only warship, the lightship Chesapeake, and my definite favourite, a submarine by the name of USS Torsk – very curious about the name as torsk is the Norwegian word for cod – how did that happen?? In addition to these historical ships you’ll get a nice view of the harbour, also with Federal Hill in the background, restaurants, paddle boats for hire – not sure I would paddle around the harbour, because it seems quite big… – and the National Aquarium and Top of the World Observation Level. The latter ones I did not visit.

Thanks for the interesting look at this harbour. Not your standard navy ships so it looks to be fun.
That’s true! It is definitely different from other harbours. Thinking about it, it in a way felt like they’ve just put something together to create a tourist attraction, but it kinda works 😀
