This was the second time I travelled the 3 1/2 hrs stretch from Oslo, Norway, to Gothenburg, Sweden, by bus. This time I went with Swebus. Can’t remember what I did last time, because it was ages ago, or at least so it feels 🙂 I think it’s pretty safe to say that the companies that service this route are more or less the same. It definitely wasn’t any hiccups last time, and it was a breeze this time as well. It all goes down very smoothly. You board in Oslo. You stop for a 5 minute drop-off/pick-up in Uddevalla, Sweden. Otherwise non-stop to Gothenburg, before the bus continues on to Copenhagen, Denmark. And the same procedure going back, in reverse 🙂 Restrooms and free wifi keep you covered – the most essential needs 😀 It is also possible to do this trip by train, which I have also done. Though travel time is equal, bus is cheaper. It’s a relatively short journey, so I’d pick this over the train any day – looking at it with budget travel eyes.
