After strolling around the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, we decided to head off to a more contemporary place, the city’s Starland District. After getting off “the dot” at the southern end of Forsyth Park, we begun a criss-crossing walk through the neighbourhood. We soon realised there were no real centre. Feeling a little lost, and coming to grips with the fact that our plan was not a suitable one this time around, we did a quick Google search, and decided to attach ourselves to Bull Street. Even though this appears to be one of the main streets running through, things are few and far between. Tired of hunting down treasures, and with stomachs craving theirs, we ended our tour with lunch at the Vault – good ruling!

Must admit Savannah wasn’t my favourite… Liked Charleston better…
Charleston is on the top of my list with a side trip to Savannah.
