Our first meeting with the stately, antebellum houses, was in Charleston, South Carolina. The town’s historic district is predominantly residential, but further south of Broad Street, the more residential the area gets, and the posher the homes look. And although we were in awe by the big, beautiful mansions, we just as much fell in love with the more “modest”, but equally beautiful, houses scattered in-between. And not to mention White Point Garden at the waterfront. We had the best time walking around taking it all in, including the charming Halloween decorations 🙂

I love Charleston! One of my favorite USA cities. Although I found that it smells kind of weird haha. Did you notice? Apparently it is their sewer system.
I didn’t notice any funky smell 😀 Charleston surprised me. Liked it better than Savannah.
