I had read somewhere about this rooftop bar in Charleston, South Carolina, so when it was time for lunch, it felt like a good idea. I’ll be the first to admit the views you’d expect from this kind of place, were far from that, basically don’t come for the vistas… On the other hand, the Rooftop sits on top of a very swanky hotel, just walking through to the elevator taking us up, made my mouth water. Luckily the style has rubbed off a bit on the bar. However I do have a feeling this place looks better in the evening. In daylight it felt more like the day after a night of partying 🙂 Maybe it was due to the slightly grey, October weather. Food wise, it wasn’t all that…

A Lobster Roll, Finally!!
This was my first, but, definitely, not my last lobster roll. I really, really liked it!! When you get past…
The meal looks delicious!! I love outdoor dining with the right ambiance, but it’s too bad there wasn’t much of a view. The ambiance looks nice though!
The place has a nice look to it, and the food is good, but for a rooftop place the view is not impressive, but then again I guess they can’t do anything about that 🙂
That’s a bummer about the view. But a korean steak salad sounds really interesting. I love all korean food so that mustve made up for the view!
Yeah, wished for a better view. I haven’t tasted much Korean food, but what I’ve had so far, I like 🙂
The food looks quite nice and I know hubby is a big fan of Korean BBQ steak. I missed Charleston last time I was in the USA (Hurricane Florence had me re-route my eastern coastal trip). I’ll keep this place in mind as I do hope on doing a coastal road trip that includes Savannah, Charleston , and Williamsburg.
We visited not long after both Florence and Michael, and was very concerned we had to reroute. It was just pure luck, that we didn’t have to. Had to rebook one hotel only. Liked Charleston better than Savannah. Didn’t stop in Williamsburg. Drove all the way from DC to New Orleans. Had a super time!!
Omgosh that food looks heavenly and atm I’m hungry and on a diet! haha Will remember this rooftop bar for when I make it to Charleston one day! #WanderfulWednesday
Haha, you could have had my salad, veggies and lean meat 🙂
The food looks amazing!
I really liked my salad 🙂
