Since we had been banished to the outskirts of Charleston hotel wise, out in Mount Pleasant, we figured we’d might as well look for a place to eat too, in the South Carolina neighbourhood. A quick TripAdvisor search, and we ended up at Coleman Public House. Crossing the pub threshold we soon realised this was a local spot. Probably not known for their impressive interior design :), but more for their food. And I really liked what I got on my plate! For the first time I got to try some Cajun food, and, boy, those shrimps were gone in a heartbeat 🙂 The burger my friend had, looked kind of anaemic… She said it was ok, but regretted she didn’t go for the burger special of the day, the idea of the jam topping threw her off her game.

I loved the Cajun food I had in New Orleans. It’s so tasty. I’d love to visit Charleston. Thanks for sharing on #FarawayFiles
Honestly, in the end I started confusing my Cajun with my Creole… I just know I loved trying out those Southern dishes 🙂 Like Charleston very much!
That shrimp looks sooooo good! I haven’t been to Charleston yet, but can’t wait to go and eat 😉 #farawayfiles
