Street art might not be the most widespread art form in Oslo, but you will come across a few bits here and there wandering through town. There is one area that serves up piece after piece though, and that is the area around Brenneriveien, Ingens gate and the well-known nightspot Blå. This intersection most definitely has the highest concentration of creations, and some really cool ones too. To spot them all, it is all about looking closely, lift up your eyes, turn around, and check the ground. Happy “hunting” 🙂
Brenneriveien is a bit off, depending on where in town you’re staying, so ask for directions.
I love these murals! I am very enticed about street art lately, so I began looking for it everywhere I travel. #TheWeeklyPostcard
Same here 🙂
Those are quite some interesting murals! Thanks for linking up with #TheWeeklyPostcard!
There’s some very nice ones in there!
Love street art, so will have to check it out when I make it to Oslo. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard
Me too!

Me too! Yes, some really cool pieces in here!
Street art is great! I love that it has become such a world wide phenomenon. Great photos of the street art in Oslo! #TheWeeklyPostcard
It definitely deserves all the praise it gets! Oslo have a few good ones to offer 🙂
I love street art and some of this looks pretty amazing. I’ll have to add ‘tour the street art’ to my list of things to do when I eventually make it to Oslo.
I’ve fallen in love with street art as well 🙂 There are some really nice pieces in there!
Great shots. I only saw a little a few walls of street art when I was walking towards the Mathallen and a couple more elsewhere. I love finding art outside of galleries.
I’ve become more and more tuned in on street art. This area is close to Mathallen. One access point to Mathallen would be walking past the end of Brenneriveien, so you probably saw these pieces.
Very cool pieces of street art! I love walking casually along some street and then stumbling upon a piece.
Me too! Yes, I think there is a few really nice works in there.
