As much as I always come to the cosy neighbourhood of Haga, when I visit Gothenburg, I also tend to come back to Cafe Kringlan for my obligatory dose of cinnamon bun. Still as lovely looking as ever, but for some part of the business, things have apparently changed over the last years. I’m not as impressed this time around, as I have been previously, which is kind of sad, as I was bringing along a friend. The overall reason for visiting, is the cinnamon bun (and tea – this time it was too hot for tea 🙂 ). It did neither look nor tast the part – I am very particular about the bun 😉 It was a real letdown 🙁 So much that next time I will look for a new favourite place. Because there is good deal of them, there in cinnamon bun land.

Oh man, I feel you on the cinnamon bun front. A good bun is AMAZING but a bad bun is blech… and my standards are made even more challenging by the gluten free situation. Better luck next time!
I love cinnamon buns, so it was a real downer 🙁
