At one end of the 10 km long corniche in Kuwait City, you’ll find the impeccable looking Kuwait Towers. They look so…clean, for the lack of better words 🙂 And so glammed up with its blue “sequins”. Love it! Very forward-looking considering it was opened back in 1979. Even though the practical purpose of these structures are to store water, if you go upstairs, which I didn’t, you’ll find an observation deck, a restaurant, a cafe, and even a ballroom – did not see that one coming – cool!

A ballroom! Who would have believed it! I have a fear of heights but a weird fascination with going to the top of tall structures. I’ll definitely have to add this to my list!
Exactly my reaction as well 🙂 I used to make it to the top, nowadays I don’t – done too many I guess 🙂

I’ve been there in March and, overall, Kuwait was a very pleasant country! The area surrounding these towers is great!
Yes, I was very surprised. Weird, because I didn’t have any expectations 🙂 Didn’t explore the surrounding area, as we just did a quick stop at the towers.
