Minnewater (Lake of Love) and the park surrounding it was kind of a sad sight those days in late November when I visited, but still it added charm to the area of Bruges I was lucky to stay in. Size wise it is actually bigger than I thought it was going to be, and what it looked like on the map. So, it is a very nice park, with bridges, like Lovers Bridge, crossing the swan filled lake and canals, gardens with buildings and monuments to walk through, including a watchtower (the Gun Powder Tower) from the city’s old defence structure. Only thing, just go do it in the summer, or at least when it is greener, and warmer.

I love the detail on the benches. It looks like it could be a beautiful place to sit and write, particularly in the fall. #TheWeeklyPostcard
Love the benches too! It was definitely quiet there during early winter, but a bit too cold. Fall might be the perfect time 🙂
