With the Olympic Park in Munich covering a large area, it being late fall/early winter and freezing, and a few things closed due to off-season, I didn’t see as much of the place as I wanted to. After going up the Olympic Tower, where there is an observation platform and a revolving restaurant, I first stopped by the Aquatic Center, which was in use. Not sure if it was professionals training or others getting their work-out done. Then I had a look at the Olympic Stadium, where I was all alone. Kind of weird. Never been all by myself in a huge stadium 🙂 Leaving Olympiapark I was thinking it was a somewhat waste of time. Good I didn’t ditch something else for this. I loved the roof though, a lot!!
The Olympic Park is outside the city centre. The metro will take you there.

I’ve been at the top of the Olympic Tower some years ago and it was nice! Thanks for sharing in #TheWeeklyPostcard
Since it was off-season there was not much to do. The tower was one option, so I went for it. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t have…
Sadly, I’ve only ever driven by it and quite personally, doesn’t spark any interest in visiting. But you’re photos are tempting me! Thanks for linking up with #TheWeeklyPostcard!
I only like them when the architecture is stunning 🙂
I went in off-season too and it seems like you saw as much as I did! We did go up to the observation deck at the top of the tower… but it was night, so all we *really* saw was the BMW logo. 😉 Nonetheless, it was cool to see! My first Olympic park visit, actually!
Haha, what sight 😀 Cool looking roof! My first park visit was during and at the Lillehammer Olympics in Norway.
I am a big fan of the Olympics so I always enjoy visiting the Olympic parks. I went to the one in Munich years ago and enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard
I like it if it is cool looking ;), like Munich or Beijing.
