First day at work, my new colleagues took me to dinner at Fiskebrygga in Kristiansand. With the weather being at its best, this was definitely the perfect choice. Now I’d like to paint an even better picture than the above. It’s summer, boats are running up and down the canal, the plentiful restaurants and bars on both sides of the waterway is filled with happy people – Norwegians are always happy when the sun is shining and it’s warm outside 🙂 And if it’s a Tuesday, a concert is on. I don’t know what you think, but I’d say it sounds like an excellent summer setup for this small harbour, that also hosts the town’s fish market.

We went to Kristiansand when I was in Norway visiting friends – it is idyllic as you say! Especially on a sunny day 🙂
How cool! It is so nice! Do your friends live there or you just happen to choose to visit randomly?
Looks like a nice deal! It is awesome to live close to the water. You can hit the beach after work or on the weekends. I have been lucky enough to live close to the water my entire life. #WanderfulWednesday
Yes, my childhood home is basically on the shoreline. One house between the waves and our house. Missed it a lot when I had to move to Oslo, where I am “far” from the ocean. But no going swimming after school, way to cold 😀
Sounds like good work-life balance!
