Sometimes all I care about are looks 🙂 That was definitely the case for Gaudi’s Casa Mila in Barcelona. Or La Pedrera if you like. From getting a glimpse of the wavy walls the first time I visited the city, and to seeing photos of the roof later on. I was so intrigued that this was, I could say the only, but more accurate, one of two reasons I went back to the Catalan capital, the other being Güell Park. However seeing recent photos of Sagrada Familia, I realise I might have to visit a third time. The church has come a long way since I visited. Ok, back to the residential building I’d love to have an apartment in. And apparently not just me, considering the fairly long line that had formed before I got there. Even though there were many visitors waiting to get in, my ultimate favourite feature, the roof, didn’t feel too cramped. But I wouldn’t have minded having the imaginative creation to myself 🙂 On my way back down I rushed through the floors, not very interested in the museum/exhibitions inside, before taking a last glance at the beautiful facade.

One of the first places I visited in Barcelona! The roof is amazing isn’t it! You’ll definitely have to go back because the La Sagrada Familia is breathtaking inside and out, and you can go to the top on the outside! #citytripping
I was so impressed by La Sagrada Familia when I visited years ago, and now it looks even more impressive, so I might be heading back one day. I just love everything Gaudi 🙂
