I spotted Mugg & Bean several places around South Africa, but it wasn’t until I was looking for lunch in Ezulwini Valley in Swaziland, that I decided to give it a go. It looks like any other coffeehouse chain, so I was a bit biased against it going in. Not expecting more than not being hungry when leaving. But how surprised was I! And very happy to be wrong 🙂 So happy that when I was in the same predicament at the Sandton City Shopping Centre in Johannesburg later on, there was no hesitation. Mugg & Bean visit no. 2 in the can! At both times I was served great food. And the juices I love, as everywhere else in SA. I wouldn’t mind welcoming Mugg & Bean to Norway 🙂

Finding delicious food when traveling can at times be a challenge, that’s why when you do find something delicious it’s worth repeating! I admit I’m not a fan of green drinks, but this one does look good! #farawayfiles
Yes, it can! Because green drinks are too healthy…? 😀
I don’t know, maybe just because they are green?!
😀
That juice looks so delicious! I always think the green ones are the best. And I’m a big fan of chicken and mushroom pie too. Scrummy. Thanks for sharing on #FarawayFiles
Then you would have loved this, like I did 🙂
What is in that smoothie? And what is the fried thing in the bottom picture? I’m hungry looking at these pictures. Yum! #farawayfiles
Honestly I don’t remember. But there was definitely mint in it, because it was a reoccurring ingredient in the drinks, and I loved it 🙂 The dish was chicken, mushrooms and onions in a cream sauce with a puff pastry lid. A take on a savoury pie…? Loved that one too! Sorry to make you hungry 😀
looks so yummy
It was 🙂
