One of the biggest attractions in Durban is uShaka Marine World. Me having no kids in tow, initially this was nothing I was gonna spend time on. But when I was dropped off here to go to the beachfront, I had to walk through the Village Walk to get there. You can probably go another way, but I didn’t bother to find that out. The Village Walk is free of charge, so why not. It is filled with shops, eateries, and much more. A nice place to take a stroll through. uShaka Marine World is made up of six parts. Wet ‘n Wild (water world), Sea World (aquarium), Dangerous Creatures (reptiles), Chimp & Zee (rope park), Village Walk (entertainment complex), and Kids World (jungle gym). Already being there, I did a little reading and figured out visiting the aquarium at Sea World could be a nice thing. The largest aquarium in the southern hemisphere. But when going to get a ticket, I was told that it is not possible to visit the aquarium only. You will have to buy a ticket that includes access to all the animals show, feedings, and other activities. Unless, there is not a private function at the aquarium in the late afternoon/early evening, which was the case of the day I was there. As it was not a must-do for me, it was a-okay.

I know my daughter would want to visit so worth knowing about the tickets. Thanks for linking up with #citytripping
I imagine kids would love it, and there were are lot of them there too, schools on class trips.
This looks like an interesting and beautiful place to visit.

The Village Walk was nice. Don’t know about the rest though, but it is very popular. And a lot of school kids/groups.
