Sleeping in Jamaica, in New York

budget hotel near jfk airport new york usa

On my way to Quito, Ecuador, I had to spend a night in New York. After looking into airport hotels, I decided on this one in Queens. And it was a good choice, when I found the place. Not that it took much searching, but it has a very non-like hotel appearance, looks more like…an apartment building… Anyways, all checked in I got a great room providing a good night’s sleep, making me ready for my next leg. Area wise it didn’t look like much, saw no shops, restaurants etc., so wouldn’t stay here for more than a break from being on the road.

I took the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station, and a taxi from there to the hotel. A smooth transfer!

    1. For just a night, it was perfect! Ecuador was great as well. Did Galapagos and Quito (and area) only, as I had added Peru and NYC to the trip too.

Love to hear your comment :)
