In Stockholm for work, after dinner a colleague of mine and I decided to visit the ice bar at the hotel we were staying at, before heading to bed. Well, I wanted to go, and she agreed to keep me company as the others were not interested at all 🙂 You pay the entry fee and are given a warm coat and gloves outside, which is actually in the hotel foyer. You enter a small room where the door to the outside is closed before the door to the inside is opened, to keep the cold inside… And pretty self-explanatory all bar interior is made out of ice. I think it is so cool! With a temperature of -7 degrees Celcius it is cold, but, hey, I’m a northerner, I can do that 🙂 After having our one drink included in the entry fee, we were off to bed. You know, meetings in the morning 🙂

Ice bars are an amusing diversion but I can’t stay in them for too long (even with the gloves and coats they provide).
Yes, I wouldn’t stay for hours. A short visit for a drink or two.
I hate being cold, but as long as the coat and gloves they give you are warm enough then it looks like fun.
You’re not gonna be cold, you’re gonna think it’s fun 🙂
