Cantina Cortina

italian pizza restaurant oslo norway

This Oslo Italian cuisine restaurant I was introduced to by a friend who loves the pizza here. And I must agree! For one who eats the pizza crust when she is full, this is the perfect place – they have the best crust I can remember to have had! And the topping is great too ๐Ÿ™‚ Nice and spicy, just the way I like it (my pizza is the below one). Cantina Cortina is located in Folketeaterpassasjen (formerly known as Operapassasjen), which I’ve always thought is a pretty cool place, an indoor street where you sit outside, even though you’re inside ๐Ÿ™‚

Folketeaterpassasjen is centrally located, but still tucked away a bit. Might wanna ask for directions.

  1. Looks really yummy! Is it expensive? We didn’t eat out in Oslo too much because we found the restaurants to be so pricy!

    1. I’d say this is a little bit above cheap, just below 25 dollars. Yes, I know great, affordable places can be hard to find in Oslo. Stick with me next time, and I’ll show you where to go ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. That bubbly, charred crust looks so good. What are the ingredients in yours? A lot of times, I do not feel like having pizza since my dad worked at a pizzeria. But, when I have pizza, I am glad I did. #WanderfulWednesday

    1. Mine had spicy salami, fresh chili and chili oil. When I have a look at it now, I want one! Think I have to call my friend to go there again ๐Ÿ™‚ Good pizza is just the best!!

    1. “The street” has a lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and even a hotel, so much to choose from. I have only tried this place, which is a good one, and another tapas place, but that one is gone now, was great as well.
