What a breath of fresh air in a summer hot New York! The much needed breeze felt like a hidden treasure as I walked along the Brooklyn boardwalk. And it was not just me who had made it out to the beach. But even though it was packed with people it didn’t feel particularly cramped. The plenty of restaurants were of course full, but I thought the lines moved pretty quickly – I guess they know how to work a crowd by now 🙂 After a peak into Luna Park, I was back on the boardwalk, eating food, feeling the wind in my hair, resting my eyes on the beach and the sea.
As I was staying in Brooklyn this time around, I just had to get on the Franklin Avenue Shuttle, which means no going towards Manhattan before heading back out again. It saved me a good chunk of time as it takes 3/4-1 hour to get there from midtown. When you arrive at the train station you have to walk for a bit. Just follow the crowds.

only seen it in movies:) #wanderfulwednesday
🙂 It’s actually a nice and chill place. Didn’t think it was going to be that relaxed considering the amount of people out and about. Luna Park was crazy though!
I’m not one for roller coasters either but I guess Coney Island is a lot about the atmosphere as well!
Yes, it was cool just being there. The fabled Coney Island 🙂
I should write about hotels in this lovely island in my blog as well. Thank you for the information.
You’re welcome 🙂
