She told me when I checked in. Well, at least in the distance 🙂 , from one of the upper floors. I also stayed here back in 2003 when David Bowie played Kristiansand, so the hotel is an old one. Trends wise the interior might look dated, but it’s not an aged, worn down place. Two huge pluses for staying. It is very centrally located, just around the corner from the main street Markens gate. Second, every morning you get to enjoy a very tasty breakfast at their well-known restaurant. In ’03 I had one of the best fish soups I have ever tasted, and Cafe Dronningen, which it was called back then, was packed with people for Saturday brunch. There’s no better review than that 🙂
