Rotterdam: Soulless Cool

rotterdam netherlands

Well, soulless might be a bit harsh, but there’s not much here besides being a starting point for more interesting day trips, like the windmills at Kinderdijk and the small town of Delft. Rotterdam do have some very cool architecture, but it won’t keep you busy for long. And what is a girl to do when sights are few and far between? Go shopping! And what is a girl to do when interesting shops are few and far between…? Thank God for day trips!

Jumped on the train from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. Took about an hour. On high-speed service.

More on Rotterdam.

  1. All of the conferences I want to go to in the next year seem to be in Rotterdam. I hadn’t realised that there wasn’t so much there though #citytripping

    1. You can do day trips. Kinderdijk is superb! Have a post on it here. Delft too. Not the most exciting one, but better than Rotterdam. Post on that too.

Love to hear your comment :)
