Weather Spoon’s Restaurant & Bar was just what I needed after a day and a half in bed, with a stomach that hadn’t see much substantial food in a while. It came recommended by the hotel, but I was still a bit curious as I set off down the street to try to find it. And I did. Located on the main restaurant/shop street in Nyaung-U, called Thi Ri Pyitsaya 4 Street according to Google Maps… It’s pretty far down the street from where the main car road in this part of Bagan meets Thi Ri Pyitsaya 4 Street. Just don’t give up. I loved the wall with greetings from different parts of the world! Delicious food, and the mint and lime juice I had was beyond yummy! Free, working, Wi-Fi is always a plus 🙂

Looks yummy. I’m guessing it’s spicy based on those peppers I see on the plate.
Most of the food I had in Myanmar were (t00) spicy. And I like spicy… This one wasn’t too bad though.
This reminds me of a small hole in the wall in Hue, Vietnam with all the scrawled messages on the walls. Looks like a good place to relax with that delicious mint drink! Thanks for linking up with #wkendtravelinspiration
So chill, and the drink is among the best I’ve had!
It looks like some sort of fried rice but I don’t think I would touch the green chilies that appear at the bottom of the plate.
I love spicy food, but the food in Myanmar is really spicy. No need for extra chilies 🙂 Good food, lovely drinks, cool place.

It was!
