Hollywood Walk of Shame

Well, shame in the sense that this is really nothing to yearn for. Of course it is on all Los Angeles visitors’ to-do-lists, and I get it – it was on mine too, but this is a go, see, check kind of situation. As it is right there on the Hollywood Boulevard sidewalks, stop by on your way to other Hollywood sights, as it is fun to have seen, but then again that’s about it.

  1. i’ve never been to L.A. but I agree with Corinne that hand prints are more interesting than just a bunch of names on a sidewalk. I’d be curious to know how you qualify as Hollywood is full of people who are famous, obviously.

    1. The prints you find at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. I think I’ve read somewhere that you are offered a star, but then you have to pay for everything yourself. Sounds like “Do you want a star?”, “Yes? Let’s do it!”, “No?” – and they’re on to the next.

  2. I guess they don’t stick their hands in the cement like they used to? That at least gave an interactive element to it. #wkendtravelinspiration

  3. There are unfortunately many sites that exist only because of their popularity, not because they are particularly interesting or great to see. When I visited downtown L.A. for the first time after visiting the city to see Los Angeles Dodger games, it was fun but not the most memorable things.

Love to hear your comment :)
