If you’re looking for a place close to downtown Oslo, then you should look away. Because this hotel is located pretty far from the city centre – I reckon a bus will take you there in half an hour. But for business travellers this could be an excellent choice, as Scandic Fornebu is situated in one of Greater Oslo’s business districts – particularly many IT businesses have their offices here. But if you look beyond the location predicament, the underwater world concept they have chosen to go with is exceptionally cool, and makes it a compelling reason to stay! The foyer has happy, bright colors with an old touch to the furniture, whereas the room (with toiletries from Face of Stockholm!) is more demure in expression, but nonetheless sooo lovely.
