Up in the Air…

It’s just lately I’ve become keen on choosing a window seat upon checking in for flights. Previously I haven’t cared too much. If I wanted to get some sleep in, I would try to get seated at the window, if not, I would rather be in an aisle seat. But in the last couple of years I have become more aware of what’s outside the huge metal bird taking me around the globe. And this post will be a homage to the beauty that can only be experienced from up in the air. I will update this post as new frequent flyer miles are acquired, thoughΒ Clooney’s ten millions might be a stretch πŸ™‚

  1. I am scared of flying but I feel kind of ok when I can see the ground (I know, it doesn’t make sense). Like to take a look around when the plane is landing.

    • Thanks! I have now become a fan as to I stop for a second to think about what I will be flying over before choosing a seat at check in. Melbourne was cool both from up above and on street level πŸ™‚

  2. The Melbourne, Australia shot is interesting – even rectangular squares, but of different colors. I wonder what grows there. Thanks for the slide show. I really enjoyed it, from the safety of my chair. (I don’t care for window seats much, and only occasionally glance out the window as we take off or land.)

Love to hear your comment :)
