Noodles @ Ra’mien

local ramen restaurant vienna austria

This was another win for Hilton Suggests on Twitter! As their first Vienna restaurant recommendation to me, Wiener Schnitzel at Figelmüller, was a success, I headed to Ra’mien all confident. I arrived at lunch time, so it was very busy, but they still found a table for me right away. They serve mostly noodle soups, but has a few other items on the menu as well. Since I am not too keen on the former, I went with one of the latter. If I were to re-visit, I’d re-do. The dish I got was good, but not mind-blowing. I like the menu deal though – above main dish, side, and dessert for 10 euros. Prices were far from discouraging. If you want good, cheap, Asian food, you should definitely try this one!

Ra’mien can be a little “hard” to find, as it is located on a somewhat anonymous street, not far from the Museum Quarter metro stop.

  1. I’d not heard of Hilton Suggests either – will check it out! I love Ramen! I’ll bear it in mind for when I eventually make it to Vienna. Thanks for linking to #citytripping

  2. Hmm, I didn’t know about that Twitter account. I have to check it out. I have had mixed results using Yelp as a guide.

    1. I asked the Twittersphere, and Hilton Suggests replied back. Have used Yelp once – pizza place in Brooklyn, New York – super cool place, pizza so-so. Tried TripAdvisor once too, same result – cool place, food not so much.

  3. This sounds like a good place to refuel after the museums – especially if you want something a bit lighter than lots of schnitzel. Thanks for joining up with #citytripping

Love to hear your comment :)
